New yearly subscriptions for Playstation Plus will see a increase in price after September 22nd, 2016. This increase will change the original price from $49.99 to the new price point of $59.99, an $10.00 increase. This will be the first time we have seen a increase in subscription price since the release of the Playstation 3. In the USA the monthly rate will remain the same while Canadians can expect a increase of a few bucks. Sony reassures consumers of this service that on the surface nothing will change.
